"Falling in love with Inky and Oglebee was so very easy for my third graders. I read the first book, Inky and the Missing Gold, to them and they laughed at the adventures these two sensational characters tumbled into together. Mr. Stansberry sends a wonderful message to my children on the importance of friendship and devotion,” said Kim Perkins, elementary teacher.
Inky and Oglebee match wits with three witches in the Kingdom of Norwood and befriend frogs and hawks for a very special mystery! Stansberry’s excellent character development brings his wonderfully eccentric heroes and villains to life. Excellent for age 8 and up, this is another family story to stimulate your imagination.
Don Stansberry is a native West Virginian and an elementary school teacher. He has been in the public school system for 23 years and always had an interest in writing. He was the head coach for the Parkersburg High Girls' Basketball team for 16 years and retired from this position with four state championships. Stansberry is part of the Headline Books School Show Program as will be featured at the October West Virginia Book Festival at the Charleston Civic Center with Headline Books.
Don lives in West Virginia with his wife Patty and his two daughters Shay and Sydney. His third book, Crusty — a children’s picture book illustrated by Stansberry, will be released in November.
